OUTCOME: This case was expected to be an open and shut guilty. A defense was presented that put that assumption aside and presented a real defense where it was not an open and shut case.

Mr. Jacques was accused of murdering a person in Norwich. The defense team was able to locate witnesses and put evidence into a light that was not done in the initial investigation. This was a very com ... plicated case, involving DNA evidence, electronic evidence as well as very difficult forensics. Not only was the governments case put to the test but Attorney DeSantis was able to locate and call witnesses that the police had not pursued during their investigation. There were numerous motions filed and hearings for those motions as Attorney DeSantis ensured that Mr. Jacques Constitutional rights were not violated.
