Minchella Law represented a small Fairfield County electrical contractor under an alternative fee arrangement in an effort to obtain payment for material and labor rendered through a general contractor ... that ultimately was terminated from the project for a large commercial project. Minchella Law pursued the project owner represented by a mid-size Connecticut defense firm, won at trial 100% of the contractor’s damages plus over $11,000 in interest and just prevailed at the Appellate Court which affirmed the trial court’s decision.

Represented electrical contractor in lawsuit against general contractor. The GC refused to abide by subcontract as part of public bidding process. Prior to this case, Connecticut courts required mu ... ltiple deceptive acts before imposing liability under CUTPA. The appellate court agreed with my argument, and reversed the trial court’s decision, directed judgment in my client’s favor.
