Cleaning Up an Estate Plan

A widow had retained a number of estate planning attorneys over a period of ten years. As a result, she had a disjointed estate plan. She had a great deal of confusion, and spent much time worrying a ... bout what might happen if she were to become incapacitate or pass away. After attending a number of my public presentations, she retained me to review and revise her estate plan. I was able to carefully review her existing plan, take time to understand her estate planning objectives and then put together a comprehensive plan. At the conclusion of the plan documents, I provided her with a written explanation of how her plan worked, and answered all her questions. She was grateful for the work I performed on her behalf, and finally had peace of mind for her future and that of her family.
