Joseph Anthony Rossi Jr

I am a Rochester, New York personal injury and medical malpractice attorney who has dedicated my entire legal career to representing injured individuals and their families. I handle cases involving car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, slip and fall accidents, construction accidents, and wrongful death claims throughout Rochester and Western New York.

Originally from downstate New York, I began my career practicing plaintiff's personal injury litigation in New York City before relocating to Rochester, my wife's hometown. Prior to founding Rossi Law Firm, I practiced with Pirrotti & Glatt PLLC, where I represented injury victims throughout New York City's five boroughs and surrounding counties. The experience I gained handling complex personal injury and medical malpractice cases now benefits my clients across Western New York.

Before becoming an attorney, I worked for my father's private investigation firm. My father is a retired police narcotics detective and DEA agent. That experience taught me the value of thorough investigation, attention to detail, and a "leave no stone unturned" approach that continues to guide my practice today.

I have been recognized by a number of respected legal organizations, including selection to the New York Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2014 through 2018 and Upstate New York Super Lawyers since 2021. I have also been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for Personal Injury Litigation since 2022 and was named Best Lawyers' 2023 Lawyer of the Year for Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation.
I am a member of the New York State Bar Association, Monroe County Bar Association, American Association for Justice, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the Greater Rochester Association of Women Attorneys. I also previously served on the Board of the Foundation of the Monroe County Bar Association.
