He is a partner at Boylan Brown where he heads the Creditor’s Rights Practice Group. Serves as the elected Secretaty of the 70,000 member New York State Bar Association. He is a Past President of the Monroe County Bar Association. He serves in the NYSBA’s House of Delegates, and was an elected Vice President from 2000 to 2007. He received NYSBA's President’s Pro Bono Service Attorney Award in 2005. For over 30 years he has practiced in the fields of debtor/creditor law, bank and commercial collections, business loan workouts, trustee litigation and commercial bankruptcy. Serves on the Board of the pro bono agency Volunteer Legal Service Project. Frequently lectures for the New York State Bar Association and Monroe County Bar Association on bankruptcy and creditors rights.
