Extremely Knowledgeable

Tom is an experienced and extremely knowledgeable Attorney. He is straight to the point and explains the law and proceedings very specifically and in depth. My family and I have used him for various reasons and he always gets the job done and done well.

Efficient and Very Effective

I hired Tom by an attorney recommendation as the best in a legal discipline to represent me as I did not reside in the Rochester area. Working long distance, except when needing to appear in-person, he did not waste my time, nor I his. He gave me specific directions as to my responibilities and act...ions to help him work effectively on my behalf. Tom provided me with clear, strategic options and advice that resulted in the best possible outcome for my case. He is very direct, honest, and also fiercely protective of his clients rights and process. I would absolutely hire him again and highly recommend him if you need a skilled attorney.

Very Professional

I hired Thomas Corletta in a child custody and child support matter. He was very honest from the beginning and told me exactly what should happen and kept me apprised of things when he needed too. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again if I needed these services in the future. I couldn't be happier wit...h his service and his knowledge

Unprofessional and Rude

Mr. Corletta was INCREDIBLY rude and dismissive on the phone. He wasn’t receptive to the conversation at hand, was argumentative, dismissive and overall unprofessional. He stated he has “very little patience” for an explanation of the variables within this complex case. He also stated that he had “ov...er 40 years” experience. Clearly, in his experience, he’s never taken the time to learn basic human decency and respect…especially regarding issues that are quite sensitive. Hiring an attorney is emotional and embarrassing. Mr Colette is insensitive and entitled. He has no business talking to people in the manner by which he chooses.

One only need look at my reviews from actual clients to see the type of work that I do. Although this individual chooses to hide behind the cloak of anonymity to criticize me because I did not tell them what they wanted to hear, I make no apologies for it whatsoever. I was on the phone for approximately 10 minutes with this individual explaining the procedural nuances of what they already admits in their own “review” is a complex case. My advice, which was rendered for free, was right on the money. Because they did not want to hear it, they chose to complain about the legal system as being “obnoxious”. Although the individual refers to me as the one being entitled, it is this reviewer of a single phone call that is entitled to have the legal system work for their sole convenience. This individual refuses to accept any responsibility for the situation they are in, and chooses to blame everyone else for it, including me, who quite wisely DECLINED to represent them! I am quite happy all I escaped with was this purported “review”. This individual would be a nightmare to represent! Over 40 years of experience serves me well in staying away from people like this.

Extremely Unprofessional and Rude Communication

I reached out to this attorney with a simple inquiry regarding a traffic case and received one of the most unprofessional responses I’ve ever seen. His tone was condescending and unnecessarily rude from the start, and when I politely replied, he followed up with a hostile email telling me to “go else...where” and calling me “entitled.” It’s clear from our interaction that this attorney lacks professionalism, respect, and basic courtesy. I would strongly discourage anyone from contacting this office unless you’re comfortable being spoken to disrespectfully. There are many attorneys in the area who are far more professional and compassionate.

Unfortunately, dealing with entitled individuals is an issue that many business owners have to deal with. I never worked for this woman on a mission running around the internet posting this review everywhere. I never worked for this individual. The quality of my work is shown by the other reviews posted on this site. This woman sent me an unsolicited email asking me for free services and whether I accepted a case on a contingent fee basis that I am ethically prohibited from accepting on that basis. She was told no and objected to my "tone". She doesn't post the screenshot here, but she has on Google. Take a look for yourself and decide whether the issue is my "tone" or her entitlement. I had no obligation to respond to her at all to begin with, but did so. When someone asks a lawyer whether they will violate professional ethics, it costs them nothing, but it costs the lawyer everything. I apologize for absolutely nothing and this woman should be avoided at all costs.
