Mary Jo gave us excellent, and compassionate, counsel in helping my partner and I get our equity out of a veterinary practice we helped build over 15-20 years. Sadly, the remaining partners of that veterinary practice (and real estate company) were extremely difficult to deal with in the legal pr...ocess of our exit from those business entities. They were not guided by a sense of fairness or professionalism- instead they allowed their personal animosity to guide them, and direct their counsel to make demands that defied common sense. Mary Jo was instrumental in fighting for a fair deal for us. She was "firm, but fair" the whole time, gave us great legal counsel, and treated us like teammates in the process. Mary Jo worked tirelessly to ensure we were informed and educated in legal matters for our decision-making process as a team. She was extremely detail-oriented and made sure our exit was completely covered legally. It was a messy process legally, but she broke it down, and was amazing in covering all the bases! Mary Jo also had an eye on our legal bill, and making sure we got the best return on our investment when it came to legal representation! I have never had legal counsel broach that aspect of representation ever before- very refreshing! I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Mary Jo during a very difficult time of my professional life.. -Andy
