Brian Shiffrin

For more than twenty-five years, I served as the attorney in charge of the Monroe County Public Defender’s Appeals Bureau. I have written or supervised the perfection of more than four thousand criminal and family court appeals. I have argued appeals in numerous courts, including the New York Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Additionally, I have been counsel representing clients at trials, including murder trials, and in post conviction motions and collateral proceedings.
