Andrew Joseph Ryan

Andrew Ryan is a partner in the firm's Litigation and Labor and Employment Departments.  Mr. Ryan represents clients in disputes in Federal and State courts throughout New York State as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the New York State Workers' Compensation Board and the New York State and Federal Department of Labor.  Mr. Ryan also acts as litigation liaison for New York State clients involved in litigation in other jurisdictions.

 

Mr. Ryan received his law degree from Albany Law School and his B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

 

Community Involvement:

His community involvement includes acting as the Chairman of the Rochester Winter Mountaineering Society, coaching the running club at his daughter's school, and serving on the Parish Council  for St. Mary's Church.

Mr. Ryan is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York.

 

Professional Affiliations:

Mr. Ryan is a member of the New York State and Monroe County Bar Associations. He is a member of the litigation sections of the New York State and Monroe County Bar Associations, and serves on the Monroe County Bar Association's Litigation Council.  Mr. Ryan lectures frequently on employment and litigation topics and has authored numerous articles
