Maureen Ann Pineau

Ms. Pineau refused to do what I asked and we were continually in Court. She filed motions, orders to show cause and expended and exhausted my funds. When I was out of money, she refused to do any further work on what I thought was a straightforward case until I could pay her more. I gave her a sub...stantial retainer and her continued objection to everything COST ME EVERYTHING. She did what SHE WANTED, not what I wanted. The Judge on several occasions yelled at her in Court.I would never recommend her.

Not the same attorney that actually cared 12-15 yrs ago!! Did not communicate with me. Did not return calls, or e-mails. I never even received a statement showing what and how much of the retainer was used. It took me 1 month of weekly asking to see where my account was with money. Had a snarky attit...ude with me, her own client!! I would not recommend to anyone as I had so much in the past years. What a huge disappointment!! Time to retire is my opinion. Hourly rates are $100 more than used to be. I did not get what i paid for. Only rudeness, and no common courtesy. I hired this attorney to relieve my stress through the process, instead felt more from stress because of this attorney.

I hired Maureen in the Fall of 2015 to fight for the custody of my children. I was filing for divorce at the time - a divorce that went on two years and cost me more than twenty thousand dollars. Maureen gave me poor advice and the Judge acknowledged that. Maureen continued to be poorly prepared for ...the courtroom and I lost custody of my child because of her poor performance. She is not respected in the courtroom.

I have retained 3 attorneys before maureen and they did nothing for me . Literally nothing . I retained maureen and she was deligent and most importantly had my daughters and my best interest at heart . I cannot tell anyone how much I appreciate maureen and her thorough services . This case was not e...asy and that woman fought for me ! Best matrimonial lawyer and a tiger in court ! I must use the word LOVE for this women .

I hired Maureen for my divorce at the suggestion of a friend. Unfortunately she was horrible and I will never refer her to anyone else. She was never prepared in the courtroom and the Judge did not have any respect for her. She dragged everything out, which of course cost me more money and blamed ...her unpreparedness on the opposing lawyer. She made a very stressful situation even more stressful. I never felt like she was on my side or working in my best interest. I think it is time for her to retire!
