Hali Sage Buckley

Ms. Buckley represents physicians, medical professionals, hospitals, and health care organizations in civil actions across New York State. Her practice is primarily focused on defending health care practitioners and institutions from professional liability claims. SuperLawyers named Ms. Buckley a top-rated “Rising Star” in Medical Malpractice Defense from 2019 - 2021.

Ms. Buckley currently resides in Pittsford, New York, with her husband and two sons. Ms. Buckley relocated to Rochester from Stamford, CT in December 2014. She is an active leader in her community and serves as a member of the Town of Pittsford Environmental Board.

Prior to joining Brown, Gruttadaro & Prato, PLLC, Ms. Buckley was an associate attorney at a medical malpractice defense firm in New York City. She was also previously a law clerk for the Honorable James Den Uyl, Superior Court of New Jersey. While attending law school, Ms. Buckley served as an intern for the Honorable Mark Falk, United States District Court-District of New Jersey, served as a member of the Rutgers Moot Court Board and was managing editor of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter. Ms. Buckley was also a Pro Bono Recognition Graduate, as well as a Rutgers Merit Scholar.
