R-1 Visa Holder to Green Card

One of our most difficult cases ever. Prior attorneys had totally ruined client's green card application through a religious worker petition. Based on the malpractice of the prior attorneys, Governme ... nt also withdrew it's prior approval of the case and immediately put client in deportation proceedings. We took the case over and immediately filed a motion to reconsider and began defending the client through removal proceedings. We outlined all the equities in the case and demonstrated that, through no fault of their own, they were put in this horrible situation. The government actually joined us in terminating proceedings and our client was rescued from deportation! USCIS still had to approve the green card application however. Through a class action lawsuit the government agreed once again to forgive our client for overstaying and violating his visa and agreed to give him and his wife a green card!
