An employee of the State of Connecticut spent his days on his feet at work. After developing severe foot and other problems, he stopped working and applied for a non-service connected disability retire ... ment. The state Medical Examining Board denied his claim. I filed for reconsideration. Not many claims are granted on reconsideration, but after a year, we made a presentation to the Board, and the claim was granted.
