Criminal Probation Surrender

OUTCOME: Probation extended and incaceration avoided.

Client was facing 18 months in the house of corrections because he was on probation with a suspended sentence when he picked up two new offenses. One of the new offenses was an Assault with a Dangerou ... s Weapon and the other a Trespass. The victim on the Assault case testified at the Probation Violation hearing. Based on the evidence presented by counsel, the defendant was not incarcerated and his probation was extended for the second time.
