Run from this crook. She will only get back to you on her way home rush you off the phone in 5 min if that and bill for full hour. She took a easy divorce with no children custody or anything and prolonged it for the tune of around 30k. She forgets details and pawns you off to her paralegal . When i ...called her out on her office loosing important documents you get her third personality who tells you off and threatens to drop you. Crooked as the day is long.

Michele was recommended by friend to handle custody/parenting agreement modification. Michele unorganized, she would schedule meetings at her office with me that always lasted at least 1 hour, $$$$$, we would come to agreement on pending matter when in court she would act like it was never discussed ...at all??? argue and blame me when I questioned or pointed out that was something we had already decided on. I arrived at office for scheduled appointment and she said " oh I forgot you were coming in today" NO WORRIES, she didn't forget to sent the bill for the full hour while she pranced around in 3" heels finding my file. claimed her office did not communicate via email and said to call, when I called office staff said I didn't respond to email and attachment? acted like I was being unreasonable because I didn't agree with last minute changes the other side made to agreement, Isnt it her job to represent her client not endorse the other side? This is a parenting agreement that as a parent I will live by for the next 10 years so umm yeah. leave voicemail about not responding to email she sent (that they don't use?) and then a follow up letter she sent, when I said I didn't receive any letter in the mail? Eventually found that her staff sent to wrong address- BUT don't worry- somehow the bill for 250.00 an hour always came to the correct address! yes where I was overbilled - a 3 minute conversation from wherever she was with a lot of noise and people talking in background was billed as a 15 minute conversation-and changes agreed to were never followed through with on her end. the final agreement/parenting plan submitted to the court- my copy sent via email/file attachment- Missing page 6, had to call and ask for a complete agreement and had the displeasure of speaking to the nasty rude office girl, there is one who is pleasant and nice but I doubt she will survive . Never would I ever recommend Michele Bergevin. LIKE EVER.

This attorney does not listen nor give you the option to make decisions in your case. Drags cases on, is very unorganized, not ready for court, and does not keep you informed at all and her only concern is that you pay your bill. I felt trapped, humiliated, and ignored by her. I was billed for he...r mistakes and felt as if she was working for the other side instead of for me.

I hired Michelle because I wanted an aggressive attorney for my custody/visitation suit. WHAT. A. MISTAKE. She is completely disorganized and doesn't care - she didn't even show up for one of my court appearances and last minute (apparently she was on vacation?!) sent one of her junior attorneys - w...ho was totally unprepared - in her place. 30 minutes late! She ignored outreach attempts by the other side to reach a settlement - I found this out AFTER from the other attorney - and instead, gouged me for even more (undeserved) fees. And her written work product was late, and full of mistakes! Learn fro my mistake - DO NOT hire this woman.

Hired her based on recommendation, she was referred to as “pit bull”.....never saw it except for when she got mad at me when I spoke up about my disappointment. I had to do all the paperwork runaround and only had the case move forward when I would call and question the office continuously. ( maybe t...hey take on more than they can handle...) whatever the retainer is you can double that and then some. I had to keep reminding her of key information regarding case. One day I received a sarcastic call from her saying she was at court where was I..... turns out no one informed me of court date ...horrible communication.
