The government contested the waiver and our client's residency application, but we argued that should the client be removed to Pakistan, it would cause extreme hardship on our clientâ€™s wife and child. After two and one-half hours of testimony and arguments, the immigration judge agreed to approve our client's case and reinstate his permanent residency.
