I dedicate my practice to helping clients with Family Law, Divorce and Custody problems. I appreciate that I make an impact on people's lives, and help them through difficult times. I take this responsibility very seriously. I have been named to 2012 and 2013 SuperLawyers Upstate New York, an honor bestowed upon only 5% of all lawyers in the state. I have also achieved the highest rating for ability and ethics with martindale Hubbell.

I Highly Recommend
I had a great experience with Mr. Margulis. He explained the law, and my circumstances legally, before going to court, so I knew what to expect. He was very knowledgeable and forceful in court. He won my case!

Negligent practices
Withholds important information just to drag your case out so he can charge you more money never returns calls and doesn’t say a word in the courtroom he doesn’t care about you as a client at all

Look elswhere
Randy started off strong and well. However as the case went on, he became less and less involved. He seems to have his attention elsewhere and does not do anything with my case unless prompted over and over by me, It's been 1.5 yrs since we started now and I rarely get updates or action. Nor is the...
I agree that this client's case took longer than typical to finalize, but largely due to the difficult procedural and substantive posture taken by the spouse. We were successful in avoiding a trial, which was consistent with this client's preferences, and we achieved, in the end, an agreement that was considered fair by all parties.

Lying
I was his client March of 2015. He was sent a copy of judgement for approval in July 2015 and the case was almost finalized. He did not respond to it and cost me money and time. I had to go to court and go to trial. I requested him to get subpoena the documents for the child custody evaluations and h...
Twisted Facts. This client's dissatisfaction stems from consequences of his own conduct. Together, we negotiated and finalized a comprehensive child custody agreement, which received court approval, and about which the client later changed his mind. The matter was reopened by the court, and remains open at the present time. A professional custodial evaluation resulted in negative findings against the client, relative to his child, and neither subpoenas nor documents had anything to do with it. Understandably, the client is unhappy with the evaluation results, which in no way could have even remotely been affected or influenced by any attorney's actions.
