Jeffrey Francis Voelkl

I hired Voelkl to handle a real estate matter. He asked for a retainer of $2,000 which seemed excessive at the time, but it included a Title Search which I know can be expensive. I have yet to receive a copy of the Title Search despite my requests, so I honestly can't say if he really obtained it. ... He would never return phone calls or emails without me making repeated attempts to contact him. He even called me at my job from his car on the way to a court appearance that I didn't even know about, asking me to make decisions in the ten minutes before he was in front of a judge. My initial retainer ran out in two seconds, and for the life of me I'm not sure what he thought he spent it on. He never moved the case along without my prodding and continually stated that we had to discuss more money in payment. Weeks went by without contact, and even when I emailed him asking him to at least be professional and tell me if he no longer wished to handle the case, he never responded. Now my issue is hanging in limbo and I have to hire another attorney to jump into the middle of a bungled case. Voelkl is completely unprofessional. No clients should have to beg for the attention of their attorney.

I found him incompetent, unprofessional and very expensive: costing many times more than normal legal fees. Very slow in responding to calls and emails. Took forever to do something about my case so much so I had to engage another lawyer to proceed and who solves it in a short length of time. The cas...e was mishandled as far as the law was concerned wasting my time and money. Very disappointed in his services.

Extremely incompetent, slow and unprofessional. After I hired this attorney, he never returned my calls or emails. Stretched this simple case out so long the I had to hire a second attorney who resolved the issue in no time. Afterwards I found out that he should have never handled the the case the wa...y he did, conveniently forgetting to inform me of the law correctly, costing me five times the billable hours.
