Timothy William Hoover

At Phillips Lytle, Mr. Hoover co-chairs the White Collar Criminal Defense & Government Investigations Practice Team and focuses his practice in civil and commercial litigation in state and federal courts, and appeals. He represents clients in arbitration proceedings and has extensive experience handling the briefings and arguments for appeals. In addition to commercial litigation, he practices in white collar criminal defense, government investigations and internal investigations. He represents grand jury targets and defends a wide variety of federal criminal matters, including white collar cases and multi-million dollar fraud cases. He handles appeals in both state and federal courts, has argued 25 cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and has argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Mr. Hoover is a frequent speaker on federal criminal defense topics.
