Jonathan C. Whyte is a co-founder and managing partner of Whyte & Whyte, LLP.
After being honorably discharged from the United States Navy, Jonathan Whyte completed his undergraduate education at the University at Buffalo, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Political Science. He subsequently attended the University at Buffalo School of Law and graduated in June 2025 with a Juris Doctor. Jonathan was admitted to practice law in New York State in January 2026.
A former deputy sheriff for Erie County, NY, Jonathan is uniquely familiar with the challenges that individuals face when they enter the criminal justice system and the need for a zealous and dedicated advocate by their side. He believes that everyone is entitled to fair and respectful representation and an attorney who tirelessly advocates for them in the legal system
