Stay far away from this lawyer!!!!

She was assigned to represent a party in my case. For the well being of your child, do not work with, nor have the Court assign Mrs. Codjovi as an attorney in your matter. She only does things and represents clients in "her best interest" not the child's. She has lied to Judges about parents, just to... get her way. If you go against her recommendations, she will make up false situations/violations to get your access denied or restricted, simply to show "she's in control". She fails to submit orders /paperwork in a timely manner. She often drags out court matters, which causes a lot of prolonged stressful confrontations for all parties involved. Her strategic delays are to financially profit more from the State, due to her caseloads. She doesn't spend enough time researching case law, to properly represent her clients, and often makes decisions that are the responsibility of the assigned Judge to determine. She's simply trying to make a name for herself in Erie County, at the expense of your family and child's well being/future.

Only Wants to Make a Name for Herself

If you are looking for an attorney to handle your adoption who researches, follows through, responds in a timely matter and actually wants what is best for the children, she is not the attorney for you. She wants a reputation; a successful name for herself. Her friendly exterior is insincere

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
