“Winning takes precedence overall. There’s no gray area. No almosts.” It’s these words – Kobe’s words – that drive me. I began my career litigating contested homeowners’ insurance claims, including ones involving arson, fraud, and disputes over insurance payout. Through the years, over the course of hundreds of depositions and motions, my practice evolved to include nearly all types of civil lawsuits. I represent clients in both state court and federal court, and in diverse forms ranging from business disputes to product liability, to copyright infringement. Outside our office, I’m passionate about our local community, including helping a high school mock trial team win a regional championship and be named a finalist in the statewide competition of over 350 schools. But we admittedly didn’t win the state championship, and there’s no “almosts,” so it’s back to the drawing board. At least, that’s my mindset.
