Etherton v. Owners Ins. Co., 829 F.3d 1209 (10th Cir. 2016)
Dec 19, 2007OUTCOME: Jury’s verdict was approximately 2.25 million
This was one of the first cases that went to trial when the new unreasonable delay and denial statutes were passed. In this particular case, Plaintiff’s auto insurance company offered him only one do ... llar in under-insured benefits, despite plaintiff having undergone 3 extensive lower back procedures. Ultimately, the jury verdict was approximately 2.25 million. I orally argued the case in front of the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, and our verdict was affirmed. Co-Counseled with Chad Hemmat.
