Samuel A. Alba

Alba Law has developed a reputation as one the premier criminal and civil litigation law firms in Western New York. We utilize over a decade of experience as an in-house municipal government attorney and deputy prosecutor in every case knowing not only what happens in the Courtroom but what happens behind closed doors.

Sam is the first attorney in his family and worked his way through law school as a cook, theater technician, and wedding DJ. As the son of an electrician and a teacher, he knows what it is like to earn every cent you have. In law school, he found a passion for courtroom work and competed on several nationally awarded mock trial teams.

Starting practice in 2015, Mr. Alba worked at a boutique litigation firm in Akron, New York where he handled criminal defense, personal injury, matrimonial, and wage and hour class actions. In 2019, Mr. Alba became the youngest Village Attorney in the history of the Village of Depew, a job title he still holds through the present day. In 2021, Mr. Alba left the boutique litigation firm and began working as the primary in-house litigation counsel for Amherst, New York, one of the largest Towns in New York State. While working in Amherst, Mr. Alba opened Alba Law PLLC to ensure his private practice litigation skills remained sharp and because he wanted to be in the courtroom as frequently as possible.

Mr. Alba lives in Amherst with his wife and four children and is an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, so much so, that he will give fellow Bills fans discounts if they mention this promotion.
