I’m proud to have been elected as a member of the executive committee on family law within the New York State Bar Association. This esteemed committee is composed of some of the top practitioners in the state and sits at the forefront of shaping and influencing the major legislative changes within matrimonial law.

Seeing as the presence of attorneys from New York City on this committee is particularly strong, I feel that it’s all the more essential for those of us from Western New York to have our voices heard. It is truly an honor for me to participate in this role, allowing me the opportunity to contribute to pivotal decisions that shape the legal landscape of family law in our state.

Who I Am
My approach to family law is founded on the knowledge that every case is unique. As such, I ask my clients the same fundamental question from the very beginning: “What are your goals?” This question forms the foundation for our legal strategy, guiding us on the type of work required, the strategy we employ, and the timeline necessary to achieve those objectives.

What’s more, I firmly believe in providing a clear and accurate assessment of your options, while avoiding empty promises or sugarcoating the truth. I find it to be my responsibility to offer clients a fair and pragmatic understanding of their situation, along with realistic approaches to help them attain the results they seek.

My firsthand experience with a prolonged divorce has fortified my drive to provide superior representation, especially when children’s well-being is at stake. This empathy, gained from my own personal experience, coupled with a fierce commitment to advocacy is my distinctive blend.

Why I Chose This Path

I became an attorney to help others and act as a voice for those who may feel voiceless. I decided to focus on family law because I saw a need for responsible handling in an area prone to ethical challenges.

Family law cases often involve attorneys who resort to prolonging conflicts, engaging in mudslinging, and fueling disputes. I recognize the potential for problems in this field and understand that an attorney’s approach could significantly impact the case’s outcome.

Today, I work in this field because I believe I can address these sensitive and complex cases with care and a strong moral compass.
