Hired Bonarigo Sr. for divorce action. He managed the mundane stuff adequately, i.e. discovery and deposition. Making progress toward a resolution of the case was a different matter. Sent letter to opposing attorney that was so poorly presented the opposing attorney said portions of it "make no sense." That's because Bonarigo apparently didn't bother to proof-read the letter, which contained numerous errors in fact, omissions of fact, plus so many typographical and grammatical errors you'd have to remove a shoe and use your toes to count them all. Got charged $200 for that. Then billing errors. Then shows up for pre-trial hearing, smooths out month old letter from opposing attorney and says, "I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to read this." Then tells me he needs to request adjournment. I'm very unhappy, as this is about the 15th adjournment (to be fair: most requested by opposing attorney). Preamble to Retainer Agreement says he'll give me his best effort. When I privately question whether I'm getting his best effort, he throws a hissy fit and declares he intends to file a motion to be relieved as my counsel. Then charges me $300 for that. Bottom line: if you want to feel like you're being treated as this guy's 1,001 divorce action, hire him. If you want aggressive passion for your case, look elsewhere.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ben on both personal and business legal matters. He represents my personal and business matters with professionalism, great knowlege of the law and unmatched integrity. Ben has been involved with all six of my companies, guiding me through numerous legal scenarios, including acquisitions and divestitures, human resource issues, business legal issues, government regulatory issues and real estate transactions. Ben has a keen sense of what is required in each situation and quickly puts the right strategy in place in order to help us be successful and move our business forward. Ben is a trustworthy attorney that can be counted on to be extremely responsive and approachable while providing the best representation a client could ask for. I will continue to use Ben as my attorney of choice and I look forward to his continued guidance.

I have been working with Mr. Bonarigo for almost 25 years and can honestly say I am completely satisfied with everything he has worked on and delivered. Timeliness and quick turnaround is crucial in my business and Ben has delivered above and beyond each and every time, which from what I hear through other business associates, is extremely difficult to find! I have always recommended Mr. Bonarigo to business associates , personal friends and when my children are in need, they will be using Mr. Bonarigo as well!
Richard Ravosa, Lawsuits and disputes Attorney
Attorney Bonarigo and I spent time together attending an intensive legal conference in Manhattan for two days and in trading war stories with him at length about some of the cases he has successfully resolved, it was clear to me that his legal acumen and unstinting work ethic are what has kept his practice a success for decades and keep his clients very happy.
