In December 2014, Raylene Speechley, a career elementary school teacher, was driving to a local shopping mall to purchase gifts for her student on her way home, when Travis Cook drove at a very high ra ... te of speed through a stop sign and struck her car head on. Travis Cook was in the midst of a road rage incident, where he drove at speeds as high as 90 mph in a residential area before hitting Ms. Speechley. While Travis Cook walked away from wreckage, Raylene Speechley suffered life changing injuries, including shattered arms, wrists, feet, knees, and collarbones. In November 2015, the jury found Travis Cook guilty of Vehicular Assault.
