Lawrence C. Anderson is the Assistant Managing Partner and member of Hinman, Howard and Kattell’s Corporate Law, General Business Representation, and Commercial Real Estate and Financing practice groups. He is also a member of the Firm's Executive Committee. Mr. Anderson regularly provides ongoing business planning services and legal counsel to companies concerning operational, management, and strategic decisions.
Mr. Anderson has significant experience in international commercial transactions. He has advised businesses in negotiating and drafting contracts for cross-border business deals and in arranging for financing for such transactions.
He also provides counsel to clients with respect to their estate planning and business succession planning.
Mr. Anderson is a Binghamton native and has spent his entire legal career with Hinman, Howard & Kattell. He is an active member and Director of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce. He is also a Director and Chairman of the Conrad and Virginia Klee Foundation and a Trustee of the United Health Services Foundation.
His extensive community service includes Committee Member of the Bishop Scholarship Foundation; Director and Former President of the Broome Community College Foundation; Secretary of the Miller S. and Adelaide S. Gaffney Foundation; Member of the Broome County YMCA; Former Division Chairman of the United Way of Broome County; Former President and Director of the Binghamton Boys & Girls Club; and Former Director of Local Advisory Board of Chase Manhattan Bank.
