Lawrence Clarke Anderson

Lawrence C. Anderson is a partner in Hinman, Howard & Kattell’s Corporate Law, General Business Representation, and Commercial Real Estate and Financing practice groups. From 1999 to 2016 he was the Assistant Managing Partner of the Firm.

Larry regularly provides ongoing business planning services and legal counsel to companies concerning operational, management, and strategic decisions. Larry has significant experience in international commercial transactions. He has advised businesses in negotiating and drafting contracts for cross-border business deals and in arranging for financing for such transactions. He also provides counsel to clients with respect to their estate planning and business succession planning.

Larry is a Binghamton native and has spent his entire legal career with Hinman, Howard & Kattell. He is a Director of the Conrad and Virginia Klee Foundation, the A. Lindsay and Olive B. O’Connor Foundation and a Corporate Member of the United Health Services Foundation. He also is an Emeritus Director and former President of the Broome Community College Foundation.

Larry’s extensive community service also includes Committee Member of the Bishop Scholarship Foundation; Former Director of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce; Trustee and Secretary of the Miller S. and Adelaide S. Gaffney Foundation; Member of the Broome County YMCA; Former Division Chairman of the United Way of Broome County; Former President and Director of the Binghamton Boys & Girls Club; and Former Director of Local Advisory Board of Chase Manhattan Bank.
