Chris Nikita Tzortzis

Chris N. Tzortzis is the founder and managing attorney of Auxo Law, serving business owners, entrepreneurs, and individuals throughout New York and Colorado. Based in the Greater Binghamton area, Chris also maintains a Colorado practice, working with Colorado clients remotely.

Chris focuses on business and corporate law, contracts, and mergers and acquisitions. He helps clients form companies, establish ownership agreements, negotiate commercial contracts, buy and sell businesses, and plan for ownership transitions. His transactional experience spans industries including technology, healthcare, landscaping, and professional services. He also assists clients with estate planning.

Chris founded Auxo Law to provide practical legal guidance with personal attention, clear communication, and transparent pricing. Clients work directly with him throughout their matters. He explains the issues that affect their decisions, identifies risks, and helps them move forward with a defined scope and fee arrangement—including flat fees when appropriate.

A Colorado native, Chris earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University, studying Spanish and International Affairs with a minor in Business. He received his J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law in 2012. His work with the law school’s business clinic and the University of Akron Research Foundation sparked his interest in helping entrepreneurs protect their ideas and build their businesses.

Before founding Auxo Law in 2024, Chris worked in private practice and government contract management, developing experience in commercial agreements, business operations, and transactions. He is licensed to practice law in New York and Colorado.

Outside his practice, Chris enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and learning from people with different backgrounds and perspectives. He brings that same curiosity and interest in people to his work—taking time to understand what clients are building and what matters most to them.
