Our client was raising a child that was the subject of a non-written surrogacy agreement. The biological Mother later sought custody of the child. We sought standing for a maternity action and we lost ... at the trial court level. The case was overturned by the Court of Appeals who agreed that our client had standing to seek maternity. The case is still pending at the Supreme Court level.
