In April 2013, I accepted a case concerning an old man who was a legal resident for 43 years, and was set to be deported because of a minor drug conviction. He was entering into early stage dementia w ... hich if removed to Mexico would have ended in his death. I was tasked to throwing out those convictions. I was able to demonstrate that his bad acts were not applicable to his prior conviction.
