Miller v. Amica Mutual Ins., 156 N.H. 117 (2007)
Jan 01, 2007OUTCOME: Supreme Court upheld our client’s claim to uninsured motorist coverage.
Motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and subsequently run over by a hit-and-run motorist, leaving him with mortal injuries. The decedent's motorcycle was not insured, although he did have insurance o ... n his truck. Motorcyclist’s estate sought uninsured motorist coverage under the truck’s coverage. The insurance company argued that the decedent was disqualified from coverage because, it said, he was operating an uninsured motor vehicle at the time of injury.
