Biography
Ryan Miosek, a native of Cooperstown, practices law in New York state. After graduating from Fairfield University in 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree in Arts he continued on to receive his Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law in Boston in 2008.
Since moving back to Cooperstown, Ryan has maintained a busy general practice office focusing heavily on Real Estate, Civil Litigation, Family and Matrimonial Law and Corporate Formation and Development, while also continuing his Products Liability and product development practice. Ryan's clients include corporations, banks, individuals and families.
In addition to his private practice, Ryan serves as General Counsel for The Hockey Equipment Certification Council Inc. He is committed to his community and is involved with a number of organizations in and around Cooperstown and Otsego County.

Professional, Prompt and Insightful
I have used Ryan for both business formation and for real estate transactions and in both cases I found him to be very professional, prompt to respond to my needs, (as well as stupid questions), and very insightful about the process. I would definitely use Ryan again in the future.

Excellent Attorney
I found Mr. Miosek to be professional, knowledgeable and prompt. He handled a business transaction for me as well as real estate closings. All went smoothly. His assistant Amanda is very friendly and nice to talk to.

Horrible experience
The quickest thing he did was cash my check. Never ordered title, property had C&Rs that he never informed me about, rushed through closing. Definitely not a great RE attorney.

I would like to respond to you specifically, but since you posted this anonymously, I have no idea what transaction you are referring to. Our office handles over 300 closings a year and we do not take payment until the transaction is closed - most firms in this area take retainers for their real estate transactions.
