OUTCOME: All charges were DISMISSED.

The client was charged with Larceny over $250 and carrying a dangerous weapon. The Commonwealth alleged that the client was in Macy's with another individual and placed unpaid items in a shopping bag ... and left the store. When the client was stopped by loss prevention, the items alleged to be stolen were recovered by loss prevention. Upon a search of the client officers allegedly recovered brass knuckles.

OUTCOME: NOT Guilty of domestic violence, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer. GUILTY of being a disorderly person.

Police responded to a 911 call from a neighbor and arrived at the client's home. Police noticed injuries to the client's girlfriend's face. The client's girlfriend indicated that she had injured hers ... elf in the home and her boyfriend was taking her to the hospital. The officers separated the parties and placed my client in handcuffs before charging him with any crime. Both the client and his girlfriend requested passers by to record the police actions. The police attempted to halt the recording of their actions. Ultimately, the client was charged with domestic violence against his girlfriend, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer and being a disorderly person.
