Words can't describe the gratitude we feel for this woman! We came to Mary desperate for answers after our mortgage company said we owed them $8000 one week after completing a five year chapter 13 plan. Mary spent hours going through our statements and cooresponding with the mortgage company's attorn...eys. She kept us up to date on everything that was going on so that we werent kept in the dark. When we didn't understand the lawyer"lingo" she took the time to break it all down for us,and not once did she make us feel rushed when we had questions.From the moment we knew Mary was representing us we felt such a sense of relief. She goes above and beyond, and methodically prepares her case with extreme professionalism and accuracy. Mary advocated for us every step of the way! Mary Fangio handled my bankruptcy case during a very rough time in my life. She explained every step of the way what was going on. During the case, a mortgage company tried to lay claim to a mortgage that was not theirs. Mary attempted numerous times to correct them. She involved the court and the co...urt ruled in my favor. I finished my bankruptcy and sure enough, as Mary cautioned me to save everything!, the mortgage company began billing me again. Mary filed the necessary court papers and after only a few months, the court awarded damages in my favor! The mortgage company apologized to the court as well as myself and Mary during the hearing. I don't think there is anyone who can say they actually MADE money from a bankruptcy filing! Mary is top-notch!!!

I cannot recommend Mary enough. I called her office initially in tears because if the shame I felt knowing that I was in the position in which I needed to file chapter 7 bankruptcy. Mary was so kind and set up a time to go in and see her in the office. When I got to her office her staff was wond...erful. There was not waiting in anticipation. Mary took me right in and explained how everything works in a way in which anyone could understand. Any questions I had she answered. She was very conscientious of my feelings and made me realize that what I was doing was not something to be ashamed of. Mary was great about staying in touch as everything progressed. If she needed information she stayed on top of it. Everything went so smoothly. I truly feel that Mary had made a huge positive impact in my life. I have learned ways to be more financially sound and in the year and a half since working with Mary I have been able to turn my financial situation around for the better preparing out family for the future. This is something I never do, write reviews…for anything, and I never thought I would write a review or anything nice about a lawyer. You know the shyster jokes, etc… Mary Fangio is the exception to every rule and stereotype that you have ever heard in your life. After dealing with Mary, I think o...f her as a part of my family, and I feel like I owe her more than just her lawyer fee (nominal in my opinion). I went to Mary to file Chapter 7. And although it is something that is necessary sometimes in life, it is a difficult decision to make and process to go through. I was referred by a friend who had the misfortune of going through the same experience as I, but was lucky enough to find Mary Fangio as well. I spoke with Mary first on the phone for a few minutes and unlike two other lawyers I had called prior, Mary was very personable and informative on the phone. I knew immediately after that phone call why he spoke so highly of Mary. I felt at ease with her for those few minutes, she described the process, what I would need when we met and explained sometimes bankruptcy is a necessity and sometimes it can be avoided. I received more information in those few minutes on the phone with Mary then I did researching it myself. I met with Mary a week later, I had my needed materials and we decided Chapter 7 was best for me, but it was all my decision to make. Mary did not act like that car salesman type; I like to call them vultures. As a matter of fact, Mary wanted me to take some time and decide if I wanted to hire her or meet with other lawyers. I knew immediately that Mary Fangio was the lawyer I wanted. Mary was there every step of the way, very available whether by phone or by email. When Mary wasn’t there and I did leave a phone message, the person behind the phone was not just an operator taking messages, no matter who answered they were personable and intelligent, they knew the process and could answer most questions, but Mary always followed up. Mary Fangio gives lawyers and the profession a GOOD name. If you ever filed bankruptcy you know, it’s somewhat embarrassing and extremely stressful. I am not one to be described as overly religious, but Mary was a God send. Mary knows how to treat people, she has information coming out of her ears, but doesn’t lose you in legal jargon, she breaks everything down so you are informed every step of the way. I would recommend Mary Fangio to anyone who thinks they may need her service, whether filing bankruptcy or any of her other specialties. Mary Fangio is a class act; I wish all professionals had her demeanor.
