Avoid this Lawyer

I hired Richard Bombardo at a time when I was desperate for legal help to protect my niece and nephews. His work was slow and sloppy; to border on incompetent. He was very rude and actually screamed at me that I was "ungrateful for his help". I was lucky I realized so quickly what a detriment ...Mr. Bombardo was, and I hired a different attorney who has been great. But that lesson cost me a few thousand dollars with no benefit. Please save yourself the struggle and avoid this lawyer.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"He is extremely professional and takes pride in his representation and presentation to the court and counsel. He vehemently advocates for his clients yet is always agreeable and open to reasonable settlements to avoid the unknowns of trial. He always keeps his Client’s goals as a priority. He sometimes gets a little loud in court but that just reflects his passion in advocating for his clients. It is never personal which makes working with him enjoyable in an area of law that is extremely toxic. Client’s that wrote negative reviews most likely did not understand the process or went against what was recommended to them. He is a lawyer I would want on my side if I needed on for a divorce or family law matter."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
