Joo Hee Kong

Joo Hee Kong represents clients in personal injury and education law matters from Nave Law Firm's Syracuse office. She is licensed to practice in New York State and in South Korea, and she speaks English and Korean.

Before coming to the United States, Joo Hee completed her training at South Korea's Judicial Research and Training Institute and practiced as in-house counsel in Seoul. In Syracuse she earned an LL.M. and then a J.D. at Syracuse University College of Law, finishing in the top 6% of the Class of 2021. She was inducted into the Order of the Coif and the Justinian Honorary Law Society, and she completed the law school's certificate program in Disability Law and Policy.

Much of her background is in disability rights. She interned with the National Disability Rights Network in Washington, D.C., and worked with the Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University. As the mother of a child with special needs, and as someone whose parents divorced when she was young, she understands what families go through in hard times, and she brings that understanding to the clients she represents.
