Jana Fults Yontz works in the firm’s Litigation Department where she handles matters involving personal injury, wrongful death, premises and products liability, toxic tort claims, and personal general liability claims.
Ms. Yontz is a summa cum laude graduate of Le Moyne College and a cum laude graduate of Syracuse University College of Law. While in law school, Ms. Yontz was inducted into the Justinian Honor Society and was awarded the CALI Awards for Excellence in Legal Research & Writing and Constitutional Law.
Ms. Yontz is admitted to practice law in New York and North Carolina, and is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association, the Central New York Women’s Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
Prior to joining Sugarman, Ms. Yontz defended claims against product manufacturers, commercial suppliers and contractors in the area of asbestos. Ms. Yontz also worked for the United States House of Representatives and has extensive experience navigating federal and state agency departments.
