Commonwealth v. Hardy
N/AOUTCOME: Dismissed
After almost two years of zealously defending the client and losing motions and interlocutory appeals Attorney Riddle was able to convince a Superior Court judge to reconsider a motion to suppress all ... of the evidence against his client, which had previously been denied. The Judge granted an evidentiary hearing and after I cross-examined the Detective with some new evidence I had discovered, the Judge made a determination the officer had lied during the earlier hearing and allowed my motion to suppress. This occurred on the eve of trial where the client was facing a minimum mandatory 5 year sentence. The Commonwealth had no choice but to dismiss the case.
