Client, a bicyclist, suffered severe injuries to his knee after a truck being driven by a City and County of San Francisco (CCSF) employee allegedly ran a stop sign in the Sunset District en route to a ... Muni delay that the employee intended to alleviate. We sued CCSF and through discovery we located and obtained GPS data that was being transmitted from the CCSF truck that tended to show that the truck did not stop at the stop sign as the driver testified in deposition, but rather only after striking Client.

Client was injured when the vehicle she was travelling in blew a tire (delamination) and rolled-over on a highway in Mexico on a hot summer day. She suffered from severe injuries to one of her arms th ... at was partially outside the window as the car rolled over. We sued, the tire manufacture and a Bay Area vehicle-service company, who had given the vehicle its stamp of approval for the trip just days before they left for their road trip. After lengthy litigation, both defendants combined to offer a fair settlement.

Client, a motorcyclist, suffered severe injuries after a car being driven by a lab technician pulled out in front of him at a two way stop sign as he left work for the day. Liability was clear and und ... isputed, however the driver had minimal insurance limits. As a result, we sued the driver’s employer alleging that his commute was covered by the company’s insurance policy despite the fact that employees are not typically covered during their commutes – citing Lobo v. Tamco, (2010) 182 Cal.App.4th 297, we alleged an exception existed because the company had come to rely upon the use of the driver’s personal vehicle. The case was vigorously defend by the employer throughout the litigation, but after we defeated a summary judgment motion and trial approached, the employer relented and settled the case for a reasonable value
