He was paid up front in full in the amount he decided was adequate for my divorce. There was no properties or shared belongings the case was requested by both parties to be settled out of court December 2014. Both myself and my ex-husband had our last court date 4/29/15. We are still awaiting final p...aperwork as of Oct 25 2015. I had to go to house several times just to get information. He never returned phone calls to me, the court clerk, judge or other attorneys. He showed up late by hours to court dates unprepared and had no clue what was going on regarding this very simple divorce. I witnessed another client at the courthouse who started with his services and had to hire another lawyer (Anthony Valonis who is actually decent if you ever need bankruptcy help). I do not advise using Mr. Tate unless you want someone to take your money, do little to no work in return, never call you or email you regarding your court appearances and then give you a number of excuses as to why he is completely incapable of doing the simple tasks of picking up the phone or filing papers with the judge.
