This was a PAGA-only case (Private Attorney General Act of 2004, California Labor Code section 2698, et seq.) involving wage and hour violations. Plaintiffs were employees of Defendant who worked as e ... stimators in the body shop, bodymen in the body shop, and service advisors in the service department. The employees had claims for (1) minimum wage violations; (2) overtime violations; (3) rest period violations; (4) meal period violations; (5) wage statement violations; (6) record-keeping violations; and (7) untimely wage payments. After over two years of contentious litigation, the parties entered into a Settlement Agreement which was approved by the court on August 6, 2018.
