Jan 10, 2023OUTCOME: My client was found not guilty in a unanimous verdict by the jury.
Client was charged with 4th Degree Assault in Lincoln County. The charges stemmed from a physical altercation between my client and another man that man that came onto the client's property. Unbeknown ... to my client at the time, the other man had come onto the property at the request of my client's girlfriend to help her move off of the property. We went trial before a jury and argued the my client had the right to defend his property, and only used reasonable force to do so.
