Wrongful denial of coverage
Apr 01, 2013OUTCOME: The insurance company extended coverage.
Mrs. D was involved in an accident which she caused. She was injured and went to the doctor for medical care. Also, the other party made a claim for under her insurance policy, seeking payment for hi ... s car and personal injuries. Mrs. D’s insurance company denied the claim, alleging that Mrs. D misrepresented certain information on their insurance application. Due to the insurance company’s decision, I filed suit on Mrs. D’s behalf, seeking a court ruling that the insurance company’s position was factually incorrect. After investigating the facts of the case, Mrs. D’s insurance company admitted that their decision was incorrect and agreed to pay for Mrs. D’s medical bills, as well as the damages she caused to the other party. Also, Mrs. D’s insurance company agreed to pay for Mrs. D’s attorney’s fees.
