Benjamin Barry

Benjamin S. Barry received his Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 2011, his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Potsdam and is admitted to practice before the New York State Bar, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York Bar and the Massachusetts State Bar.
Benjamin began his legal career as a criminal defense attorney on the island of Nantucket where he joined a local and prominent firm as a legal intern in 2008. Subsequently, in 2013 Benjamin was offered a position with a New York based firm where he continued to represent individuals in criminal proceedings but expanded his skill set to include civil litigation and civil trial work.

When offered a position at Martin, Harding and Mazzotti, LLP, Benjamin welcomed the opportunity to merge his medical knowledge with his formal legal training. As an active member of the Plattsburgh community, Benjamin considers personal injury law as an important part of his “community caretaking function.”

Benjamin is a member of the Federal Bar Association, American Bar Association, New York Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Clinton County Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Nantucket Island Bar Association.

When away from the office, Benjamin enjoys spending time exploring the Adirondack Mountains and Lake
