Employer Defense Case: Complainant (Former Employee) filed a Complaint/Charge of Discrimination with the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) and Florida Commission of Human Resources (FCHR) ... alleging, inter alia, violations of the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992, as amended, Florida Statute 760.10F against our client, as Respondent, a premiere Sleep Testing Center with multiple locations in multiple states. Complainant alleged that she was subject to different terms and conditions of employment, given different wages, denied a promotion and discharged because of her race (Asian/Island Pacific), marital status, sex (female), and for opposing discriminatory charges.
