I represented Mr. and Mrs. Jensen, who sold their home to the Baileys. The Baileys sued the Jensen for failure to disclose what they alleged were material defects in the home, namely that the sewer sy ... stem had failed and that there was work peformed on the house without a permit. After a 3 day trial, the court ruled in the Jensens favor in regards to the sewer system but held in favor of the Baileys on the work done without a permit. We appealled the case to the Second District Court of Appeal.
