OUTCOME: The attorney for the licensor agreed to terminate the license agreement and allow my Client to operate his restaurant independent of the licensor.

Client was provided a license agreement to operate a restaurant and was not receiving any support or training from the licensor. Client wanted out of the system to operate an independent restaurant wi ... thout having to pay royalties. I determined that what the Client had been sold was a franchise and that the licensor had not provided the required disclosure document to the Client at the time the Client was granted the license. I sent the licensor a demand letter.
