Jason and David represented the family of Albert Williams, who died a tragic death as a result of the gross negligence of the Defendant, an Assisted Living Facility. Mr. Williams, a resident of the as ... sisted living facility, was allowed to wander off the facility's premises, even though it was unsafe for him to do so. To make matters worse, his family was not timely notified of the situation. Unfortunately, Mr. Williams wandered off the premises for the last time, and was not known to be missing for 24 hours. He was later found by law enforcement, deceased, six days later.After lengthy and tough litigation, a summary jury panel awarded the family $750,000 in damages, plus entitlement to seek punitive damages. The case subsequently settled for a confidential amount.
